Ontology [ONT]’s Founder Li Jun invites blockchain developers to join the team

On 28th August, Ontology posted about the recent developments of their Japan Community Mainnet event in Tokyo, on their official Twitter handle. The event saw many blockchain developers and the Ontology community members take part in it.

During the event, Ontology’s Founder, Li Jun discussed Ontology’s vision. The Founder explains how Ontology’s distributed trust ecosystem is an ideal use case in the field of commerce. He stated that ‘simple’ commerce transactions require multiple trust factors where distributed platforms like Ontology are useful.

Li also discussed how Ontology’s decentralized client ONTO, Smart Contract Tool SmartX,  and Official Desktop Wallet ‘Owallet’ can be used.

He believes that users will be able to put more trust in technology as Ontology-driven software provide unsupervised collaboration among friends, family, and colleagues.

Furthermore, Li Jun invited blockchain developers to join the community and help them co-create the trust ecosystem. For this, the team has allocated a 10% of ONT to the technical team of Ontology.

Also, Ontology’s Global Development Manager, Mathias Glintborg, announced that Ontology will be launching their Bounty Program soon. In addition to community members discussing Ontology’s roadmap and future developments, some of the Ontology partners also spoke at the event.

Leslie Wu, VP of blockchain Digital Advertisement Platform [DAD] stated:

“Effective application of blockchain technology in the advertisement industry can make better profiles and more accurate advertisement delivery. We look forward to providing more transparent data and fair advertising through Ontology’s technology”.

The event had other speakers including Yang Yang [Hardware System Architecture Director of blockchain-based smart hardware infrastructure solution platform, Chain of Things], Tony Yu [PR and Brand VP of the blockchain-based new generation credit service network Points],  and Li Sheng  [Business Development Director of blockchain-based Business Data Network], speaking about using Ontology’s technology in their space of work.

According to Li Jun’s statement, it is revealed that Ontology aims to establish in China. According to him:

“In China, the number of users is huge and the demand is diverse. We also have good infrastructure and high-quality internet resources, which shows the huge potential of technology development in the China market.”

Speaking to Japanese media, Chief Strategy Officer Andy Ji revealed that the company plans to create more decentralized apps in the near future and since their launch, the team has continually pushed forward timelines.
