Tron [TRX] records more than 80 dApps on the network; Justin Sun stays true to the promise made to the community

The whole cryptocurrency market has been shining brightly since the beginning of this month as the price of all the cryptocurrencies took an unanticipated upward swing. This came across as an additional push for all the projects that have been striving for the betterment for the ecosystem and the community.

Additionally, the coin restored the hope of several investors in the market as they were on the verge of being crushed down by the bear. Even top currencies such as Ethereum [ETH], XRP, Litecoin [LTC], and Tron [TRX], showed much progress after the bull’s return to the market.

Justin Sun, the CEO and Founder of Tron Foundation, recently made announcements regarding Tron’s new milestones on his official Twitter handle. One of the announcements were regarding the dApps built on Tron network. In the month of November, the CEO had stated that Tron would have 80+ dApps on the network by the end of December. Sun said on Twitter:

“#TRON has 74 Dapps in @dapp_review now and 80+ secured! #TRX$TRX”

At the time of writing, Tron has breached the 80+ mark, as the stats on dApp Review pictured the network with 82 dApps on the network, proving that Sun has yet again kept up to the promise made to the community.

Along with this progress, the network’s contract triggers have also marked a new milestone as it crossed the 100 million stage. Smart contract triggers refer to the mechanism that activates the execution of smart contracts. Sun announced on Twitter:

“Congratulations on #TRON contract triggers surpassed 100 million. #TRX$TRX”

One Care, a Twitterati said:

“When is the next one? Give us some more upcoming news and your projection for 2019. Congratulations on the good work”

Moreover, Sun also made a proposal to modify the energy limit to 100 billion, and it is stated to be effective from Sunday onwards. The proposal has gained a total of 21 approval votes at the time of writing.
