BBT Carter recently visited the IBM Think 2018 conference to get a operational understanding at IBM Watson Cognitive and other technologies by IBM including IBM Hyperledger Fabric.

Now why do we care about permissioned blockchains? Mainly due to the fact business and governments care on a few outstanding critical issues with current cryptocurrency highly distributed full ledger systems. Scalability.

Our argument is both can coexist for specific functions however and in reality more than just hyperledger will exist in the private, permissioned space. This is just the beginning and the foundation is getting put in place now.
